Scottish Entrepreneurs – Michelle Mone talks KPI’s and Innovation

This video is from a couple of years ago when Michelle Mone spoke at a business event in Manchester. What Michelle says in the video below is still very much relevant today.

She talks about the role of an entrepreneur being the loneliest job on the planet. She also talks about the need for building a good team which is very similar to the recent video we featured with Duncan Bannatyne and his Rules for Success. Michelle then goes on to emphasise the importance of KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) which is an area we tend to focus on initially when working with a new client.

Being that Michelle is in the lingerie business she also talks about the importance of innovation in your product. You need to continue to innovate because in most markets the competition will be fierce. She also makes a great point about it not always being about price and if you want to have a lasting business you really should never look to compete on price alone.

Overall a great video with some interesting insights from probably one of the most famous Scottish female entreprenuers.
